Office Manager

Well-established commercial laundry company servicing hotels, restaurants, and clubs across Cape Cod, the Islands and Newport since 1985 is looking for an experienced Office Manager to join their dynamic, hardworking team. This is a full-time, in-office position with competitive salary and benefits including paid health and dental, retirement plan with company match, paid vacation and sick time. Schedule flexibility provided with the day starting any time between 8am-9am.
 
The Office Manager will act as the right hand to the owner, wearing multiple hats and supporting the daily needs of the company including:
 
Office Administration

  • Answer phones, assisting with customer questions and requests.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Monitor and reply to company email.
  • Scheduling and calendar management.
  • Draft letters and correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain office files.
  • Coordinate with IT firm for support and troubleshooting of computers and office equipment.
  • Help complete transition of documents from on-site server to cloud-based server.
  • Monitor inventory and order office supplies, employee clothing and business cards.
  • Marketing support and updates to company website as necessary.
  • Other administrative support to Owner’s as needed.
Accounting Support
  • Review and process AP and AR; enter bills in QuickBooks Online.
  • Print checks for Owner review and signature; mail out.
  • Deposit checks and bank runs as needed.
  • Provide information and documents to Bookkeeper as needed.
HR Administration
  • Update and maintain company policies, manuals, and employee handbook.
  • New hire paperwork and benefit enrollment.
  • Prepare employee hours to be submitted to 3rd Party Payroll company weekly.
  • Processing unemployment and workers compensation requests.
  • Coordinating company events.
Qualifications Required:
  • 5+ years of office management experience in a small to medium sized business.
  • Extremely organized with strong follow-through and task management skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and enjoys a non-routine oriented day.
  • Technically savvy with high level proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks beneficial, otherwise training will be provided.
  • Ability to work in a loud office environment with interruptions.
  • Bilingual a plus, not required.
