Supervisor Job Description
- Coordinate and administer staff hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling.
- Maintain a team-wide high standard of customer service and customer experience.
- Exercise effective time management of self and staff with daily tasks and responsibilities.
- Holds themselves and others accountable in all aspects of roles and responsibilities.
- Enforce everyday SOP (standard operating procedures).
- Ensure thorough and accurate completion of daily/weekly/monthly tasks.
- Demonstrate excellent problem solving skills, take initiative, and effectively prioritize.
- Exhibit a creative eye and natural ability for merchandising and displaying.
- Display excellent organizational skills and have a strong attention to detail.
- Master product knowledge - local artists/vendors/product features/gifting ideas/etc.
- Adapt as daily situations change and create new plans to fit the needs of the store.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills - both oral and written.
- Show willingness and enthusiasm for improvement and growth of self, team, and business.
- Possess general technical ability and knowledge of tech devices and programs, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and help carry large items up and down stairs (multiple flights).
- At least hours per week
- Saturdays are required and one Sunday each month
