Extensive paid training is also available, upon hire, and includes: Professional Development Workshops, First Aid, CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Prevention.As a Residential Supervisor in our Children's program, you will manage the interdisciplinary team that is providing residential support for students to promote a positive, healthy and safe living environment for both students and staff. You will have active, constructive participation with residential counselors, students, supervisory team, administrators, clinical staff, teachers, ancillary staff and families of students. You will also be responsible for supervising residential counselors.
Latham provides a paid two-week Orientation program for all new employees upon hire. High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license and a clean driving are all required for this position. Must have strong therapeutic behavior management skills exhibit ambulatory ability sufficient to physically intervene in instances of extreme behavior that might jeopardize the safety of students and staff.
Fluent English speaking and writing skills, empathy and the ability to listen, strong computer shills, good time management skills and professional appearance and demeanor are all required for this position.
