Working as a Child Care Worker in our Children's program, you will promote a physically safe and emotionally healthy environment while supervising students during evening residential activities and overnight sleeping hours. $17.57 per hour.

Latham provides a paid two-week Orientation program for all new employees upon hire. While the ideal candidate for this position is required to have a High School degree or GED with one year human service experience, candidates with a high school diploma/ GED and are new to the human services field are encouraged to apply!  You must also have the ability to handle children in crisis safely, with compassion and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 

Fluent English speaking and writing skills, empathy and the ability to listen, good time management skills and professional appearance and demeanor are all required for this position. 

***Weekend differential $3.00 per hour for hours worked between 7am Saturday through 6:59am Monday! ***

37.5 hours: Mon 7p-8:30a, Sat 7p-9a (sleep shifts), Sun 10p-8a (Required to be awake during shift, pay rate: $16.00/hr. for Sun shift only)  
39 hours: Thurs, Sat 7p-9a,  Fri 10p-9a (Required to be awake during shifts, pay rate: $17.50/hr. for Fri shift only)  
33 hours: Thurs, Fri 10p-8a (Required to be awake during shifts, pay rate: $17.50/hr. for Thurs, Fri shift only), Sat 9p-9a (Sleep)
38 hours: Wed, Fri 7p-8a, (sleep shifts) Sat 9p-9a (Required to be awake during shift, pay rate: $17.50/hr. for Sat shift only)
