Extensive paid training is also available, upon hire, and includes: Professional Development Workshops, First Aid, CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Prevention.As a Case Manager/ Vocational Counselor you will plan and provide direct services to individuals living in community residences, which includes supporting the individuals to manage monthly financial needs. You will coordinate and complete required DDS documentation in support of the individuals' ISP. $18.64 per hour.
The ideal candidate for this position has a Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field or equivalent experience. Knowledge of DDS procedures and regulations and experience working with a special needs population preferred. He or she must have the ability to handle individuals in crisis safely, with compassion and must be able to attain MAPS certification for medication administration. A valid driver's license is required.
Fluent English speaking and writing skills, empathy and the ability to listen, good time management skills and professional appearance and demeanor are all required for this position.

32 hours: Tues 8a-8p, Fri 9a-7p, Sat 8:30a -6:30p (Turning Mill, Brewster)
