Job Description

Fast-paced vacation rental-by-owner business seeks full-time employee responsible for implementing digital marketing campaigns. 

Founded in 1997, WeNeedaVacation.com is a niche vacation rental website that advertises more than 4,000 vacation rental homes on Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket. Family-owned, we are a tightly-knit team, passionately committed to two basic principles: top-notch customer service to our clients and using state-of-art technology to provide a powerful, yet easy-to-use website. We have offices in Wellesley and Brewster.  

 

Responsibilities 

  • Implement digital media campaigns aligned with business goals 

  • Create, publish, and promote digital content across all communication channels 

  • Design and create marketing communications  

  • Design, create and monitor social media advertising campaigns 

  • Create and collaborate on content (blogs, videos, podcasts, social posts, emails, etc.)  

  • Design and implement marketing emails and manage their distribution 

  • Monitor and respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner 

  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends especially in vacation rental industry 

 

Skills and Expertise 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field 

  • 2+ years of experience in Digital Marketing 

  • Professional-level understanding of digital technologies, channels, methodologies and best practices 

  • Experience with visual communication principles 

  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task 

  • Is a self-motivated, self-directed, “roll up your sleeves” person and a quick learner 

  • A team player with great interpersonal skills and a sense of humor 

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekend time 

  • Adobe Creative Suite/Canva experience a plus 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 

  • Willingness to work both in our Brewster office and independently from home
