Community Relations Administrator

Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Marketing and Community Engagement Officer, this role will assist in our philanthropic activities and community events in three major ways:
  1. Supports administration of sponsorships and donations by the Bank and its Foundation.
  2. Participates in coordination of community relations and community involvement activities, including volunteerism and corporate leadership.
  3. Assists with coordination of internal and external communications surrounding these related activities and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sponsorships and Donations: Supports the good efforts of the Bank in its sponsorships and donations administration and related requests for support activities, including the Donation Referral Committee, related Donation Advisory Committees, budget management, branch donations and coordination with Governance on Foundation Management-related items.
  2. Community Relations and Community Support: Assists with the Bank’s philanthropic, volunteer and sponsorship-related activities to ensure maximum leverage, internal communication and post-event follow-up. This would include administration of a checklist noting level of Bank participation, benefits, giveaways, on-site event needs, main contact person, press releases (as needed), photography and social media, tickets, program ads, tables, RSVPs and post event evaluation.
  3. Internal and External Communication: Participates in the creation and dissemination of internal and external communications through all channels.
  4. Systems administration: Serves as primary contact for eGrant systems, web site updates and works with Accounting on disbursements and pending disbursements reconciliation and related vendor management.
  5. Other related duties as assigned.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, desktop publishing and basic graphic applications.
  • Attention to detail. Accuracy.
  • Banking experience.
  • Drive and commitment to ensure that all of our philanthropic efforts are seamlessly coordinated to achieve the greatest impacts.
  • Ensure that the philanthropic efforts of the Bank are accurately recognized in all of its internal and external communication in a timely manner.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and work under pressure.
  • Must be high energy individual able to set goals, prioritize, and move projects forward.
  • Must have excellent judgment and problem solving skills and a natural sense of urgency.
  • Ability to establish own work plan, including daily priorities, and perform work independently within the scope of this job description.
