Job Description
The Town of Dennis seeks qualified applicants for the full-time position of Principal Office Assistant for the Department of Natural Resources.
 
Qualified applicant will be responsible for a wide range of clerical support services assisting in the day to day operations of the department including, but not limited to, the facilitating communication between the public and office staff, maintenance of department records, and issuance of department licenses or permits.  This position is required to take and transcribe minutes for nightly meetings.
 
Skills in operating personal computers and applicable word processing and statistical applications; excellent customer service skills; time management skills, self-motivational skills and organizational skills are very important.
 
Minimum Qualifications:  Associates degree or equivalent with one to three (1-3) years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
