Office Assistant

The Town of Dennis seeks applicants for the part-time (16 hrs. / wk.) position of Office Assistant for the Council on Aging.  Duties include, but not limited to accounts payable, preparing vendor invoices, deposits and payroll, maintaining financial records for capital, gifts, grants, and revolving accounts.  Maintains accurate account of classes, special events, and programs’ income and expenses. Responsible for the reconciliation and recording of cash transactions.
 
Detailed oriented, along with strong computer skills especially excel required, along with High School degree or equivalent with one to three- (1-3) years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
