Are you an avid runner looking for ways to stay in shape during these chilly months? For many runners spending months to train for races it is important to constantly be challenging and pushing your body to its limits! It’s no surprise that many runners training for a race implement yoga into their cross-training regimens, and you can too during this 3 part yoga workshop at Cape Cod Beer! $20 includes a guided yoga workout with Just Breathe Yoga Teachers and your choice of one post yoga beverage! You can come to all three classes or just one! Attendees must bring their own yoga mat! We'll be meeting on: March 23 from 6:30-8:30 pm April 6 from 6:30-8:30 pm April 27 from 6:30-8:30 pm Yoga aids runners by increasing blood flow to overworked joints and muscles, promoting healing and making the most out of rest days. Yoga also stretches and strengthens the muscles of the legs, core and spine. Perhaps most surprisingly, yoga is a workout for the mind and helps instill a sense of determination that will be crucial come race day! If you are looking for other ways to keep yourself race ready consider joining our Run Club! Cape Cod Beer's Run Club takes place on Monday nights from May 4th to October 5th. Run a 5K or 10K route then meet back at the brewery for a beer…you’ve earned it! The brewery stays open just a little later so that you can get your run in and meet up with your running friends after…or make new friends! Our Run Club is generously sponsored by The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod. Be sure to thank them when you stop into a branch to do your banking!
