Mass Audubon Long Pasture Sanctuary is proud to present its “Wildlife on Tap 2017” lecture series, sponsored by Cape Cod Beer. The monthly lectures will be held on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 6 to 8 p.m., at Cape Cod Beer, 1336 Phinney’s Lane, Hyannis. $10 per person/per event in advance ($13 at the door) Includes free popcorn and other goodies. Presenter: Stephanie Ellis, Executive Director Wild Care Description: “Help! I found a baby bird…, “There’s an orphaned squirrel at my doorstep… Now what?” Wild Care, Inc. is a nonprofit wildlife hospital dedicated to the rescue and release of injured and orphaned wildlife on Cape Cod. Wild Care operates a Wildlife Helpline, and rehabilitates over 1,200 animals per year. They see everything from Bald Eagles to Deer Mice. Wild Care’s Executive Director Stephanie Ellis will cover what to do when you find animals in distress, and will provide tips for living with our wild neighbors.
