Join Barnstable Land Trust and Larry Dapsis, entomologist for the Cape Cod Cooperative Extension on a talk about Lyme Disease prevention. Lyme Disease is the most prevalent tick-borne disease in Massachusetts and is now considered to be a public health crisis. In addition to Lyme, deer ticks can carry the pathogens for several other serious diseases. This program will present a three point protection: Protect Yourself, Protect Your Yard and Protect your Pet.
