Join four contemporary landscape painters – David Kapp, Lois Dodd, Elizabeth O’Reilly, and Jim Holland – as they discuss what “landscape” means, the influence of tradition on contemporary painters, and how styles evolved over time. Following the artist panel, explore this season’s special exhibit, Painted Landscapes: Contemporary Views, featuring artwork by all four artists on the panel, and offering a range of styles, subjects, and approaches which, when taken together, form an intimate, contemporary, and startlingly beautiful collection that addresses what landscape painting is today.
Advance registration is recommended, as space is limited. Registration is free for Heritage Members, but please register so that your space(s) can be reserved. Tickets are available online now.
Heritage Members: Free; Non-Members: $25 (includes Museum admission)
